Charity Initiatives

Vanessa is passionate about her charity work and the progression of youth, not just in the UK but globally.  To date she has raised in excess of £75,000 through various initiative that involve her contributing at both a strategic and tactical level.  Below are just a few of her examples of her charity work and youth initiatives.

  • 2011 – Appointed as Trustee for NYMT (a children’s theatre charity).
  • 2011 – Appointed as Trustee for Prostate UK (cancer charity).
  • 2011 – Set up initiative, 1000 miles for a thousand smiles which involved running/walking 1000 miles as part of various organised runs in order to raise money for various  charities (including running the London Marathon in 2012 for Wellbeing of Women and trekking 54 miles in 24 hours across the Scottish highlands).
  • 2011 – Visit to Forever Angels Orphanage with 4 of her mentees, the youngest being 10 years old.
  • 2012 – Represented London at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics as Pearly Queen City of London.
  • 2013 – Visited India with 2 of her junior mentees to work with various charities and social enterprises.
  • 2013 – Designed a business enterprise programme for 9-11 year olds which was successfully delivered in a local primary school.
  • 2014 – Appointed to the board of Women of Influence for Cancer Research UK.
  • 2014 – Became an Ambassador for Future Future, Inspiring the Future and Girls Out Loud.
  • 2015 – Revisted India several times for volunteering activities.
